Wallsburg Ward Newsletter February 14, 1982
Front-page news:
BENJAMIN PACK BAPTIZED
Benjamin Pack was born Jan. 4, 1974 in Philadelphia while his dad was going to school there. He has two brothers and a sister.
Benjy is a special boy and a joy to his parents. He is a willing helper and his bright smile lights up the household. He is good with his hands and has loved to use tools ever since he was a tiny tot. At school he likes math best.
Benjy likes Wallsburg because he can use the B-B gun he got for Christmas and sled in the back yard.
The Lord must be proud of Benjamin, for he has taken very seriously this first step in his program towards eternal life. He now reads his Book of Mormon for fifteen minutes every evening. He is very interested in the Gospel, and always remembers his tithing.
His parents* are proud of Benjamin and love him very much.
*and obviously his grandma Helen, too, for she kept the newsletter all her life
In 2011 you kindly left a comment on my Ivall blog http://ivall.blogspot.co.uk/ regarding my post on the life of James Ivall. Just wanted to let you know that I have recently added a lot more info on the Ivall family to the blog, which may be of interest.
